In addition, the amendment will eliminate the USLPR status requirement for eligibility in the eTA program. The amendment will also invalidate any existing eTA that was issued on the basis of USLPR status. Holders of invalid eTAs will be notified electronically and informed of what documents they need to present when flying to Canada.
